Mr. Lips is one of the pioneers of the Year-2000 software industry. He is considered a thought leader and his articles were often required reading. He wrote an original computer software product, successfully built and sold the resulting company (TransCentury Data Systems) and became Corporate Director of the acquiring company (Platinum Technology, Inc). During this time he lectured throughout the U.S., Asia and Europe.
